ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — French Broad Flooring, a locally owned flooring business, is bringing high-quality materials and expert installation services to Asheville homeowners and businesses.

The company, located on Tunnel Road, offers premium hardwood, luxury vinyl plank (LVP) and tile (LVT), porcelain and ceramic tile, carpet, and more. In addition to flooring sales, the business provides full-service installation, including old floor removal, furniture moving, and trim installation. Customers are encouraged to visit the showroom, enjoy a cup of coffee, and explore the selection of samples.

“We serve a wide range of clients, including homeowners, contractors, commercial property owners, property management companies, and real estate agents,” said owner Eric Robinson.

Beyond flooring, French Broad Flooring connects clients with a trusted network of subcontractors, including electricians, plumbers, designers, and painters.

“We understand the challenge of finding reliable professionals to bring into your home,” Robinson said. “With our network, clients don’t have to worry about the quality or cost of work.”

French Broad Flooring opened its doors six months ago, but Robinson’s experience in the industry goes back much further. He launched the business after losing his job at a flooring store that was destroyed by Hurricane Helene. Rather than start over elsewhere, he used his expertise and professional connections to create his own company.

Robinson said what sets French Broad Flooring apart is its commitment to specialized customer service.

“We take the time to educate clients on the best products for their projects,” he said. “Customer satisfaction is our priority.”

The company also gives back to the community through charitable donations to local churches and organizations, including Asheville Area Habitat and Warren Wilson Community College.

While French Broad Flooring doesn’t currently offer formal classes, Robinson said the company strives to educate customers on flooring materials, installation, and maintenance.

“If we don’t have the answer, we’ll find it,” he said.
