MARSHALL, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Marshall, N.C. is a small riverside community in the mountains of Madison County. The town was hit hard by flooding during Hurricane Helene, destroying many of the businesses and restaurants on Main Street, which runs adjacent to the French Broad River.

Seven months later, Marshall has announced its grand reopening with the Marshall Magic Days celebration.
