ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Appalachian Mountain Health is celebrating their 3rd annual health fair with free activities, food and giveaways for the whole family, from cotton candy to kids clothing.
The fair will be held from 11 a.m.–3 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 2 at AMH Asheville, 77 McDowell St. Admission is free and no registration is required.
Scooters, snacks and school supplies
The health fair will feature tons of free prizes for kids and their families. Those who attend can expect to see a variety of back-to-school items in the giveaways, including:
- Bikes
- Scooters
- Backpacks with school supplies
- Lightly-used children’s clothing
- Free lunch
- Popcorn and cotton candy
In true form for a health clinic, there will also be back-to-school physical check-ups at the event, as well as a bouncy house and other activities.
