ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Another cold morning and lingering concerns about icy roads prompted several Western North Carolina school districts to delay classes Wednesday.

Those delaying the start of classes include:

Avery County Schools: Two-hour delay
Madison County Schools: Two-hour delay
Mayland Community College: Two-hour delay
Mitchell County Schools: Two-hour delay
Yancey County Schools: Two-hour delay
