ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Summer concert season is underway in Asheville and Western North Carolina, with national touring acts, outdoor concerts, tribute bands, weekly jams, local performers and emerging artists on stages across the region.

Brandi Carlile brings an acoustic evening to Thomas Wolfe Auditorium at Harrah’s Cherokee Center on Wednesday, June 10.

Lord Huron

Lord Huron performs Sunday, June 14, at ExploreAsheville.com Arena at Harrah’s Cherokee Center, with Thao opening the show.

Modest Mouse

Modest Mouse plays two nights at The Orange Peel on Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13, with Silver Triplets of the Rio Hondo.

Flatland Cavalry

Flatland Cavalry plays Asheville Yards on Saturday, June 6, with Tobacco Road opening. The outdoor downtown show is scheduled for 6 p.m., with gates opening at 5 p.m.

Downtown After 5

Downtown After 5 returns Friday, June 19, with a Juneteenth Celebration at Pack Square Park. The free concert features headliner Kanika Moore and opening act Reggie Headen and the Nite Time Noon.

Yonder Mountain String Band

Yonder Mountain String Band comes to Pisgah Brewing’s outdoor stage in Black Mountain on Friday, June 5, with Suns of Stars.
