ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) —Â Bruce Ellison McCall, 65, plead guilty to five counts of second degree sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of third degree sexual exploitation of a minor in Buncombe Superior Court earlier this month.
McCall was given an active sentence of 26-92 months.
McCall was arrested on March 2, 2026, after Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office detectives received a cyber tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. McCall was charged with the 10 counts of child exploitation for possession and duplication of child sexual material.
