BEECH MOUNTAIN, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Land of Oz is a theme park styled after the 1939 film “The Wizard of Oz,” complete with a Yellow Brick Road, fully costumed actors and an Emerald City.
The Land of Oz opens for three weekends every September for the Autumn at Oz event, which invites guests to come travel from Kansas to Oz themselves and meet characters from the film along the way.
