ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Rain and snow that fell Wednesday made for some icy roads as overnight temperatures dropped below freezing.
Some area schools will be operating on a two-hour delay Thursday because of road conditions and the chance of more snow later in the day.
Those schools include:
- Avery County
- Madison County
- Yancey County
