WEAVERVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Kerrigan Abrielle Hensley, 21, turned herself in one month after a fatal hit-and-run incident on Patton Avenue.
Detectives with the Asheville Police Department charged Hensley for death by vehicle and felony hit-and-run after consultation with the Buncombe County District Attorney’s Office.
The Weaverville woman was charged for an April 8 incident involving two pedestrians near the intersection of Patton Avenue and Louisiana Avenue.
Hensley turned herself in to the Buncombe County Detention Facility on May 8. She is currently being held under a $50,000 secured bond issued by the magistrate.
