Asheville Police Department detectives have identified Darrion Deshawn Brown, 33, as one of the shooters involved in a June 28 incident on Atkinson Street in West Asheville.
ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Police Department detectives have identified Darrion Deshawn Brown, 33, as one of the shooters involved in a June 28 incident on Atkinson Street in West Asheville.
Brown was located on July 7 and taken into custody. As part of the investigation, a juvenile was also identified and apprehended.

Brown was charged under three warrants for his arrest, including”
- Possession of firearm by felon
- Carrying a concealed gun
- 2nd degree trespass
Brown was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility under a $16,000 secured bond issued by a magistrate.
