ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A winter storm is expected to bring snowfall across Western North Carolina from Friday into Saturday, forecasters said, with hazardous travel conditions and potential disruptions to infrastructure and daily activities.
The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg warned that the system could make driving dangerous and urged residents to complete preparations ahead of the storm.
