ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Community organizations, local businesses, service providers and residents are invited to a Building Bridges gathering Sept. 23 in Asheville.

Hola Carolina, the YMCA of Western North Carolina and Unidxs WNC will host the event from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 200 College St.

The gathering will give attendees an opportunity to meet others, exchange information and learn more about local programs, services and resources.

Participants are encouraged to bring business cards, flyers and information about their organizations, businesses or services to share.

Lunch will be provided. Simultaneous interpretation in English and Spanish will be available through Cenzontle Language Justice Cooperative.

Buncombe County Government is sponsoring the event.

Parking validation will be available at the garage at 164 College St. Attendees should keep the ticket they receive when entering the garage and bring it to the meeting for validation.

The event is open to everyone. Organizers ask attendees to RSVP by Sept. 5 by emailing info@holacarolina.org. RSVPs will help organizers plan for lunch, seating and interpretation.
