ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Golf fans hoping to attend the inaugural Biltmore Championship Asheville this weekend will have to turn to the resale market if they don’t already have a ticket.
Tournament organizers say tickets and parking passes for Friday, Saturday and Sunday are sold out through primary sales channels.
Verified resale tickets may still be available through the tournament’s authorized resale site. Organizers are cautioning fans against buying tickets elsewhere, saying only tickets transferred or resold through the authorized site are verified and guaranteed.
The tournament does not set or control prices for tickets offered on the resale market.
With parking passes also sold out, fans heading to the tournament have other transportation options.
Organizers are recommending Uber and other rideshare services. Fans using rideshare should enter “Biltmore Championship Asheville” as their destination. They will be directed to a designated drop-off and pickup area at MAC Paper & Packaging, 130 Vista Blvd. in Arden.
Complimentary shuttles will carry fans between the rideshare location and the tournament grounds.
A free Downtown Asheville Express trolley also will operate on a limited schedule between the Grove Arcade in downtown Asheville and The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
The trolley will run from 2-6 p.m. Friday and noon-4 p.m. Saturday, with departures on the hour and service approximately once an hour.
The Biltmore Championship Asheville is the inaugural PGA Tour Champions event at The Cliffs at Walnut Cove.
