HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newNOW)— March is Bleeding Disorders Awareness Month, and AdventHealth is urging the community to donate blood to help save lives. Blood donations are vital not only for emergencies but also for patients with ongoing medical needs. For individuals with bleeding disorders, having a sufficient blood supply available before their scheduled treatments is critical.

AdventHealth Hendersonville is partnering with The Blood Connection to ensure a healthy and stocked blood supply for both emergencies and the ongoing needs of the community. The blood drive will take place on Thursday, March 6, at AdventHealth Hendersonville, where community members can become donors and make a difference.

To facilitate donations, AdventHealth and The Blood Connection adhere to all safety protocols for blood donation.
