CHARLOTTE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The singer of “Hurricane” has announced a concert benefit for the survivors of Hurricane Helene.

Country artist Luke Combs, born and raised in North Carolina, will join forces with “Drink In My Hand” singer Eric Church, acclaimed bluegrass musician Billy Strings and rock-n-roll legend James Taylor for the charity performance.

The event, “Concert for Carolina,” will be held at 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 26 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

Tickets are on sale through Ticketmaster beginning 10 a.m., Thursday, Oct. 10. A reminder can be set on the event page.

A raffle and an auction will also be held.

“Concert for Carolina” will be hosted by two big names in the sports world: ESPN sports journalist Marty Smith and former Tarheels quarterback and Barstool Sports personality Caleb Pressley. More performers are set to be announced in the coming weeks. The event will be presented by Explore Asheville.

All of the proceeds from the benefit concert will go to charities selected by Combs and Church. According to the Carolina Panthers’ website, Combs has chosen to donate to:

Church, meanwhile, will provide relief through his “Chief Cares Fund,” donating to several charities and organizations that can provide quick and effective aid to people suffering from the impact of Hurricane Helene.

“I told y’all I had something big planned for Carolina,” Combs said in an Instagram post about the event. “100% of all proceeds will be going directly to those who need it most.”
