ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Firefighters with the Asheville Fire Department responded to a house fire Saturday afternoon on Edgewood Road and rescued a dog from the residence.
Crews were dispatched around 3:15 p.m. on June 28. No one was home at the time of the fire, officials said. Firefighters were able to bring the blaze under control within 10 minutes, extinguishing it by about 3:25 p.m.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
