A Black truck driver delivering mulch in Clyde said he was harassed and attacked by a group of white men, including the son of a private landfill owner, during a June 28 incident that is now drawing scrutiny and outrage online.
The driver, who uses the name “BossedUpp Ent” on TikTok, posted videos and a written account describing what he said happened at the “TBD Dump,” officially listed as Two Banks Development LLC. His videos have drawn widespread attention and prompted a public response from Haywood County officials.

Haywood County government responded to the viral videos with a statement clarifying that the site in question is a private facility and not affiliated with the county, the town of Clyde or the county’s solid waste contractors. The county also reported receiving threats directed at its staff and facilities and urged the public to verify information before acting.
Efforts to reach the Haywood County Sheriff’s Office, Two Banks Development and BossedUpp Ent have been unsuccessful.
Wright Brothers Construction Company Inc. said the incident did not happen at one of its job sites, but acknowledged an employee was there.
“To be clear, this incident did not occur on a Wright Brothers jobsite. We are taking the matter very seriously and are conducting a thorough internal investigation regarding our employee’s presence at the location, which is affiliated with Two Banks Development, LLC,” the company said in a statement.
“The other individuals shown in the video are not employed by Wright Brothers Construction Company. We condemn the behavior displayed in the video in the strongest possible terms.”

The truck driver said he is seeking legal counsel and encouraged viewers to share lawyer recommendations in the comments of his post.
According to BossedUpp Ent’s statement, he arrived at the dump site roughly 45 minutes before its 6:30 a.m. opening time. He said an employee explained the site wasn’t open yet and told him most drivers park up the road until opening. After informing the employee it was his first time at the location, the employee reportedly told him not to worry and that the gate would open soon.
The situation allegedly escalated when the property owner’s son arrived and told the driver he would need to circle around and allow other drivers to go ahead of him, despite being first in line. The driver said he complied, but 20 minutes later, the man returned with several other men, some visibly armed, and accused him of stealing a cellphone.
The driver said he allowed the men to search his truck, and after surveillance footage was reviewed, he was cleared and permitted to dump his load.
However, according to his account, the owner’s son later returned and claimed the missing phone had been found on the ground outside the truck. The driver alleged that the group then ran toward his vehicle, opened his door and began to attack him.
Not long after one man told the driver the sheriff’s office had been called, a man in plain clothes and hard hat is seen walking toward the driver in the video.
“Stay in your truck,” the man said, walking toward him and pointing his finger. “Shut your door and shut your mouth.”
“You’re the sheriff, right?” BossedUpp Ent asked the man.
“Yes, and I’m done talking with you. Shut the door,” the man said as he shut the door on the driver’s puppy.
However, people on social media were quick to say the man in the video was not Haywood County Sheriff Bill Wilke.
Efforts to reach the sheriff were unsuccessful.
As BossedUpp Ent attempted to leave, he said the men used bulldozers to flip his trailer and tip over his truck.
“I was scared to move because they kept saying something bad was going to happen to me,” BossedUpp Ent said.
