ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — As renovations continue at historic McCormick Field, the Asheville Tourists are giving fans a chance to take home pieces of the ballpark.
Fans can purchase jars of game-used infield dirt for $10 at the Tourists Trap while supplies last. In addition, historic signage from the stadium is being auctioned online through 1:59 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 27.
Winning bidders will need to arrange a time to pick up their items after the auction ends. The team has shared a gallery of the memorabilia for fans to browse and bid on.
