ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — After Indian street food restaurant Dilbar closed last week, their prominent location on Biltmore Avenue in downtown Asheville was left vacant.
No longer: the owners of neighboring newcomer Färməsē Cocktail Lounge are opening a new food and beverage concept in the Dilbar space.
“Justin & Layla Neuroth of Farmese Cocktail Lounge are super excited to announce that along with our partner on the project, AVL resident Adam Authier, we have acquired the Dilbar space above us and will be bringing a fresh new food & beverage concept to downtown by April,” said Färməsē owner Justin Neuroth in a text.
The cocktail lounge, pronounced “pharmacy,” recently celebrated its grand opening in the space below the now-defunct restaurant.
“Menus are still being finalized but think all-day farm to table fast casual,” Neuroth wrote. “Exotic coffees, classic American grub morning till night, only the best draft beer and as many local ingredients as possible all served in a very vibey light & bright setting.”
The new restaurant will incorporate one more element of the Dilbar property.
“Plus..we’re bringing back the patio,” Neuroth finished.
