Henderson County to open FEMA disaster recovery center

The center will open Wednesday at 1 p.m. on Asheville Highway in the Blue Ridge Commons shopping plaza.

HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (828newsNOW) – Henderson County has announced the opening of a FEMA Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) to assist residents impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Location: 2111 Asheville Highway, Hendersonville
Purpose: Assist residents in applying for FEMA disaster relief.
Services Offered: Federal, state, and local resources available for disaster recovery.
Opening Schedule:
- Wednesday: Open from 1 to 7 p.m.
- Thursday onward: Open daily from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Who Can Visit: County residents affected by Hurricane Helene.
