HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The annual outdoor concert series Rhythm & Brews returns to Hendersonville this summer.

Rhythm & Brews takes to the streets of Hendersonville on the first Thursday of every month, beginning in June and extending through October.

Opening acts kick off the performances at 5:30 p.m. followed by the headliner from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Doors open at 5:15 p.m. Each concert will take place at the south end of Main Street, closing off the blocks between Allen and Caswell streets.

This year, the lineup includes:

June 19: Big Daddy Love with Letters to Abigail

July 17: Florencia & the Feeling with Lewendahl

August 21: Maggie Baugh with Blake Ellege & Saddletramp

September 18: Caitlin Krisko & The Broadcast with Hustle Souls

October 16: BonaFide Soul with Congdon Griffin Band

The “brews” end of the deal comes from Hendersonville’s first beer and wine garden, featuring local beverages from Sierra Nevada Brewing Co., Bold Rock Hard Cider, Guidon Brewing Co., Oklawaha Brewing Co., Dry Falls Brewery, Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards, and Flat Rock Cider Company.

For the kiddos, the Hendersonville Honeycrisps & Hendersonville Toy Company Kid Zone will provide family-friendly fun, including hula-hooping, activities and other games.

Rhythm & Brews was established in 2013 as a a 501c3 nonprofit. All net proceeds from adult beverage sales will benefit the Friends of Downtown Hendersonville 501c3 nonprofit, whose mission is to preserve the authentic community atmosphere of downtown Hendersonville.
