John D. Eudy, age 53, of Angier, NC passed away on July 19, 2024 after fighting a long battle with Esophageal cancer.  John was born on December 26, 1970 in Concord, NC.  He previously resided in California, Korea, Fayetteville, NC, Spring Lake, NC, Clinton, NC, and Coats, NC.

John proudly served our country as a Senior Airman in the US Air Force from December 1, 1992 to November 24, 2000 until he was honorably discharged as a SSGT E5.  John was employed as a Senior Solutions Engineer for F5, a leading Cybersecurity technology company.  He was a member of Triangle Rock Club, Harnett Country Run Club, and Western Carolina Climbers.

John received several medals and awards throughout his life.  Through his company (F5) he earned two Achievers Club awards.  Through the Military he earned the Levitow Award in 1998, the Air Force Longevity Service Award, the Air Force Training Ribbon, the National Defense Service Medal, the Small Arms Marksmanship Medal, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award.

In his free time, John loved climbing, hiking and spending time with his family, specifically his daughters, wife and his dog, Felix.

John is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Linda C. Brown.  He is also survived by his daughters, Lindsay T. Brown Eudy, of Angier, NC, and Emily J. Brown Eudy, of Angier, NC; his mother, Deborah Lee Eudy, and his father, John C. Eudy (Wanda); his brothers, Tony O. Eudy, and Steven B. Eudy; sister-in-law’s, TJ Eudy and Jeri Sos; his nieces, Katrina, Sabrina, and Marissa.  He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.  John is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, Krone and Mary Lou Eudy and Carol and Marge Simmons.

The Memorial Celebration Service will be in the fall.  There will be no funeral or interment.
