ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The second presidential debate of the 2024 election is here, but it will be the first matchup between Vice President Kamala Harris and Republican Donald Trump.
The first debate on June 27 started a chain reaction that led to Harris replacing President Joe Biden at the top of the Democratic ticket.
What time is the debate?
The 90-minute debate at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia will start at 9 p.m. and air on ABC News properties. It will be moderated by “World News Tonight” anchor David Muir and “Prime” anchor Linsey Davis.

- Indivisible AVL’s Debate Watch Party is set to start at 8:30 p.m. at Bottle Riot, 37 Paynes Way #009, Asheville.

A debate watch party is also happening 9-11 p.m. in the Highsmith Student Union, 1 University Heights, Asheville.
