ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) – People the world over witnessed the splendor of the full moon last night. In an abnormally spectacular display, the earth’s younger sister appeared to viewers a great deal larger than usual, reflecting considerable light onto the remaining snow from Winter Storm Cora this past weekend.
At around 5:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13, 2025, the first full moon of the year, also known as the Wolf Moon, rose in its full glory for Western North Carolina. If you missed the event in person, have a look at some photos our team took of the heavenly host.
