ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville police are investigating a shooting Sunday that left a man with non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers responded shortly before 5 p.m. to an apartment complex on Granada Street after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. When they arrived, they found a man with a gunshot wound under his left arm and provided aid until emergency medical personnel arrived. The victim was transported to Mission Hospital.
