ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Flooding across areas of Western North Carolina has prompted temporary and early closures of several health care practices.

A spokesperson for Mission Health sent out a list to media Thursday morning, noting that ALL Mission Health hospitals are still open.

  • Vista Family Medicine
  • Weaverville Family Medicine
  • Asheville Family Medicine
  • Medical Associates of Transylvania – Brevard
  • Mission Weight Management
  • Mission Urology – Asheville
  • Mission Neurology – Outpatient
  • Mission Surgery – Asheville
  • Western Carolina Women’s Specialty Center – Asheville
  • Asheville Cardiology Associates – Brevard
  • Head and Neck Specialists of Western North Carolina
  • Brevard Specialties – all closed
  • Mission Community Medicine – Cashiers
  • Mission Cancer Specialists – Asheville
  • Toxaway Health Center
  • Mission Children’s Specialists (Reuters) – Asheville
  • All CarePartners Outpatient Rehab clinics are closed
  • CarePartners PACE is closed
  • Fullerton Genetics Center is closed

Closing early:

  • Vein Specialist – close at noon
  • Carolina Vascular – close at noon
  • South Asheville Urgent Care closes at 3pm today; closed tomorrow
  • My Care Now – Spruce Pine (will close at 5:30pm)
  • My Care Now – McDowell (will close at 5:30pm)

828 ROAD REPORT: WNC CLOSURES AHEAD OF HURRICANE HELENE

Due to inclement weather and worsening road conditions throughout the region, all UNC Health Pardee outpatient clinics including Pardee BlueMD and specialist locations will close at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26, and be closed on Friday, Sept. 27. All practices will contact patients to cancel and reschedule appointments. Pardee Urgent Care locations will also close at 12 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 26.

As a reminder, Pardee Hospital and the Emergency Department remain open 24 hours/day. The public is encouraged to check pardeehospital.org and social media channels for additional updates.
