SWANNANOA, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office and the North Carolina State Highway Patrol are collaborating on an investigation into a death which occurred in Swannanoa, N.C., earlier this week.

According to a BCSO press release today, June 12, the death occurred around 11 a.m. on Monday, June 8, along U.S. Highway 70.

This case is developing and investigators will provide more details as they become available.
