ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Thinking of planning a trip to Boston? Pretty soon, you’ll be able to fly directly out of Asheville!

Delta Air Lines recently announced there will be new nonstop service to Boston from Asheville Regional Airport starting next spring.

Nonstop service to Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) begins May 10, 2025, and will operate on Saturdays and Sundays. All flights will operate on Embraer ERJ-175 aircraft, with a 70-seat, dual-class service configuration, a release from Asheville Regional Airport said.

With the addition of BOS, Delta now serves four nonstop markets from AVL: Atlanta (ATL), Boston (BOS), New York/LaGuardia (LGA) and Minneapolis/St. Paul (MSP).

“Boston is a very popular destination for travelers in our area, and conversely, Asheville is a desired place for Bostonians to visit,” said Lew Bleiweis, president and CEO at Asheville Regional Airport in a press release. “And a bonus is that Delta’s Boston service provides excellent connectivity – both domestically and internationally. I thank Delta for their decades-long commitment to our region, and this addition to their flight offerings is very exciting.”
