ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The North Asheville Library will be closed from April 15 to May 9 for an interior refresh, funded by the Friends of North Asheville Library and the Trust Fund for Buncombe County Public Libraries.

The $81,000 renovation will include a full interior repainting and new carpet installation. During the closure, patrons may return items to any Buncombe County Public Library. The nearby Pack Memorial Library is a convenient alternative.

Overdue fees are never charged, and materials can be reserved online for pickup at other library locations. The digital library is open 24/7 at buncombecounty.org/library.

This project is fully funded by library supporters and is aimed at enhancing the space to better serve the community.

Stay tuned for the library’s new look.
