ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Alphonse, a 3-year-old mixed-breed dog, is looking for his forever home through the Asheville Humane Society.
Weighing in at 48 pounds, Alphonse is described by staff as a “sweet guy” who “just really wants attention and to love on people all the time.” Known for his affectionate personality and energetic spirit, Alphonse enjoys outdoor adventures and especially loves hiking.
While he gets along well with people, Alphonse can be selective when it comes to other dogs. Still, shelter staff say his loyal and loving nature makes him a great fit for an active family.
His $35 adoption fee has been waived, and his new family will receive a $50 gift card from Ingles Markets.
