ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Cats and dogs aren’t the only animals at the Asheville Humane Society looking for their forever home.

Bella and Bubbles are a pair of bonded rats known at Asheville Humane for being particularly sweet and social.

“There’s a lot of misconceptions about rats,” said Asheville Humane employee Colleen Daly. “Rats are actually so smart. They can be trained to do tricks, all kinds of tricks, and can be trained to use a litter box, so they’re actually, in that way, pretty clean.”
