ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Gentle giant Coco, a 6-year-old Great Pyrenees weighing 120 pounds, is looking for a calm, loving home.

Described as a mellow and affectionate companion, Coco is known to gently lean against people for scratches and is especially fond of treats. Despite his imposing size, he has a calm and gentle demeanor, making him a favorite among staff and volunteers.

Coco is friendly with humans and other dogs, but he’s sensitive to loud noises like fireworks. A quiet home environment would help ease his anxiety and allow him to thrive.

Adoption fees for Coco have been waived through Saturday. After that, his adoption fee will be $35. His new family will receive a $50 gift card from Ingles Markets. Appointments to meet Coco can be scheduled through the Asheville Humane Society’s adoption center.
