ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — MJ, a 5-year-old mixed-breed dog with a quiet spirit and curious mind, is available for adoption at Asheville Humane Society.
Weighing about 60 pounds, MJ is crate trained and known for her independent nature. Shelter staff describe her as timid but brave, navigating the shelter environment with quiet determination. She has a knack for climbing fences and outwitting her handlers, making her a fun and engaging companion for experienced dog owners.
MJ is best suited for a home that values her independence and can appreciate her subtle displays of affection. A meet-and-greet is required for any potential canine housemates.
Asheville Humane Society has waived all adoption fees through the end of July. In addition, MJ’s new family will receive a $50 Ingles gift card.
