A crowd braved the summer heat and threat of afternoon storms Saturday to enjoy a variety of performers and activities at the Allison Deaver House in Pisgah Forest.
The Transylvania Heritage Museum hosted its third annual Appalachian Folk Festival, which showcased a variety of performers including the Pearls, the J Creek Cloggers, Zeb Ross and Appalachian Blues artist Laura Blackley.
