Pisgah View Apartments and nearby vehicle caught in firearm dispute
The Asheville Police Department is investigating an early morning incident involving gunfire and a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex in West Asheville. No one was injured, with only property damage reported at this time.

ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The Asheville Police Department is investigating an early morning incident involving gunfire and a stolen vehicle at an apartment complex in West Asheville. No one was injured, with only property damage reported at this time.
APD officers responded to reports of a gun discharge around 2:32 a.m. on Sunday, July 6 at the Pisgah View Apartments apartment complex on Cordova Street. When officers arrived, the culprits had already fled the scene, but officers discovered two buildings and an apartment that had been struck by gunfire with broken glass scattered in the street.
APD officers also found an unoccupied vehicle with multiple bullet holes near the intersection of State Street and Short Michigan Avenue.
