For the second time in a week, Asheville Police are investigating a case of gunshots into occupied homes in South Asheville.
Only property damage and no injuries have been reported in either reported incident, but Asheville Police are asking for the public’s help in investigating the cases.
The latest case happened around 12:43 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, in the 300 block of Brooklyn Road, where officers responded to reports of a gun discharge, police said in a press release on Tuesday.
No suspects were on the scene when officers arrived, but officers did find 46 shell casings and gunfire damage to three properties, including two homes and two vehicles, the press release stated.
