ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Regenerating Asheville, a for-impact organization dedicated to fostering a thriving ecosystem in the French Broad Watershed, has announced the grand opening of its Regen Hub. The innovative community space will serve as a central gathering point for “regenerators” – individuals and organizations committed to building a more sustainable and equitable future for the greater Asheville bioregion.

The public is invited to celebrate the “soft” opening from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at 81 Broadway St., Asheville. Click here to register for the free event.

The Regen Hub is designed to be a dynamic hub for collaboration, innovation and resource sharing, a news release from Regenerating Asheville said. The hub will provide a physical space for workshops, events, documentary film screenings and networking opportunities, all focused on strengthening the local culture, economy and natural environment.

Those who attend the grand opening will be among the first to experience the unique space and learn more about Regenerating Asheville’s comprehensive plans for amplifying high-impact initiations across the bioregion, the news release said.

“The Regen Hub represents a significant step towards realizing our vision of a thriving future for Asheville,” Regenerating Asheville co-founder and vision keeper Holly McCann said in the release. “It’s a place where ideas can take root, partnerships can flourish, and tangible solutions can be developed to address the challenges facing our community and our planet. We’re excited to open our doors and welcome everyone to join us in this important work.”
