ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Don’t head to the bus stop just yet. The rain, sleet and snow Monday combined with frigid overnight temperatures to make for hazardous driving conditions Tuesday morning.
“Due to inclement weather and icy roads, A-B Tech will operate on a two-hour delay, opening at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 7,” school officials said in a Facebook post.
It isn’t the only school to opt for a late start. Below is a list of closing school closings and delays in the Asheville area:
