FLETCHER, N.C. (828newsNOW) — The 2025 North Carolina Mountain State Fair was held this year from Sept. 5-14 at the WNC Agricultural Center in Fletcher, N.C.
The annual event was filled with attendees enjoying fair fare during its last weekend, including everything from the gondola lift and footlong corndogs to the farm animals competing in various livestock shows.

There were dozens of animals to see at the fair, from massive Ankole-Watusi cattle to tiny pygmy goats.

Rides and skies
There was a terrific sunset during the waning hours of the fair on Saturday, Sept. 15, which paired brilliantly with the neon lights of the carnival attractions.
