ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Police Department officers arrested two last week in the Amboy Road area on drug trafficking charges.
Aiden Rae Mitchell, 27, and Erron Thomas Wolicki, 43, were given felony drug trafficking charges and checked into Buncombe County Detention Center on $25,000 and $90,000 bonds, respectively.
The two were caught while APD officers were conducting proactive enforcement around 7:53 p.m., Friday, March 7 in the Amboy Road area.
While the two were taken into custody without incident, Mitchell was also found to be in possession of a firearm.
The seized paraphernalia includes:
- Taurus G3C 9mm pistol
- 29.03 grams of fentanyl
- 3.27 grams of methamphetamine
Mitchell was charged with:
- Felony trafficking in opium or heroin by possession – Level I
- Felony trafficking in opium or heroin by transport – Level I
- Felony possession with intent to deliver – Schedule II
- Carrying a concealed gun
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Wolicki was charged with:
- Felony trafficking in opium or heroin by possession – Level II
- Felony trafficking in opium or heroin by transport – Level II
- Felony possession – Schedule II
- Felony possession of drug paraphernalia
Wolicki was also charged with a warrant for felony probation violation.
