WOODFIN, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A water main break off Old Leicester Highway in the Woodfin Water District has disrupted service to homes and businesses.
Officials with the Woodfin Sanitary Water and Sewer District confirmed the break and described it as “pretty big,” though no estimate was immediately available for when repairs would be complete.
One resident reported water service was lost around 11 p.m. Wednesday and remained off into Wednesday morning.
