ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — Asheville Police Department detectives are investigating the stabbing of a woman which occurred on Thursday afternoon at the Hawthorne at Bear Creek apartment complex in West Asheville.
According to an APD report, officers responded to the scene around 2:57 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13. When officers arrived at the Bear Creek Lane complex, the victim was suffering from numerous lacerations to her upper body and being tended to by a neighbor. Officers provided additional medical assistance before EMS arrived, after which the victim was transported to Mission Hospital.
