Black History Awards 

Black Wall Street AVL is a local non-profit who specializes in helping black business owners grow and expand their operations. Each year, the group celebrates community members who are “making history every day,” as their founder J. Hackett stated. 5:30 – 8 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Asheville Community Theater, join Hackett and Black Wall Street AVL in celebrating the contributions of black community leaders.

Grateful Dead Kids Concert 

Want your kids to experience the music you grew up on? Attend this family-friendly Grateful Dead themed concert. Hosted by the Rock and Roll Playhouse, this series of kid-friendly concerts is a nationwide affair giving children the opportunity to get their groove on to the classic rock genre. Rock on at noon on Saturday, Feb. 22 at the Grey Eagle.
