The Taylor Swift Party 

The Eras Tour may be over, but the party definitely is not. The DJ hosting this dance party has promised at least one song from each of Swift’s eras, ensuring Swifties will hear some of their favorite tunes. The Taylor extravaganza is scheduled for 9 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at the Asheville Music Hall. For more information, click here. 

 

Gift Wrapping at the Grove Arcade 

Are you starting to get overwhelmed by the mountain of presents growing in your closet or garage? Not to worry, there is a charity who can help. For a donation, volunteers from Pandemic of Love Asheville are offering to help wrap your endless gift nightmare from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Dec. 21-22 at the Grove Park Arcade. Jesse Velvet Single Release Party 

Local funk and rock band Jesse Valet is releasing their new single “Jeans” this weekend. A party for the song’s debut is set for 8-11 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at One World Brewing. For more information, click here. 

 

Woodturning Demonstration 

Art is a mainstay of the Asheville scene. While live music is very popular, the stage is not the only place artists perform. The Carolina Mountain Woodturners are hosting a live demonstration from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Folk Art Center. For more information, click here.
