Annual Chili Cook
This is not a potluck chili cookoff with four or five entries. Across Waynesville, 50 chilis are expected to be steeping this weekend for your enjoyment at local businesses. For only $10, you can taste each of them from 12 – 4 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 15 in downtown Waynesville.

Flappers and Felony
Did you hear? Murder mystery nights are back in fashion and better than ever. Step back into the jazz age in this gaudy 1920’s themed event hosted by the Swannanoa Valley History Museum. Embody Zelda Fitzgerald from 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at Peri Social in Black Mountain.

Game Night
Not sure what to do on Valentine’s Day? Change things up with the Let the Games Begin community board game night. Bring a game to share or jump in a game you have not tried before and meet new friends. This event is set to run from 7 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14.

Are you looking for a special moment to share with your child this weekend? This free, family-friendly event offers music and refreshments for you and your family to enjoy together. Get your dance moves out from 6:30 – 9 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 14 at Burton Street Community Center.
