Friday, July 11

Asheville summer cinema tradition Movies in the Park continues this Friday with a sea-faring screening. “Finding Nemo” will be projected on the big screen at Pack Square Park, with free clownfish stress relievers for attendees while supplies last.

The latest installment in the free, outdoor concert series at Biltmore Park will feature southern rock band Laron Huntley & The Gravely Brothers on the green outside Hickory Tavern. Sweet treats will be available from The Sweet Escape Frozen Yogurt at the family-friendly event.

Saturday, July 12

One of the oldest celebrations of old-time music in Asheville, Shindig on the Green invites the community out to its 59th season of summertime bluegrass, clogging, storytelling and other mountain musical traditions.

The largest antique pop-up in Asheville will host their summer extravaganza at Haywood Park Hotel this weekend. Expect to find artwork, oddities and vintage items of all kinds at the Uncommon Market event.

The Asheville Rugby Football Club invites local rugby teams to come duke it out at an all-day rugby tournament. Every team is guaranteed at least 3 games.

Sunday, July 13

Asheville’s biggest art fair returns this weekend with dozens of artists bringing their a-game crafting to Harrah’s Cherokee Center. The Big Crafty Community Day is free and open to the public, inviting the community to shop from dozens of local Asheville artists and artisans.
