First Friday on The Block
Join The Block Collaborative and their neighbors for First Friday! You can experience the transformative “Aiming for Freedom: Race, Reparations & Right Paths” exhibit at Noir Collective AVL & YMI’s Gallery at The Corner Spot, celebrating Black feminist art and collective liberation.
ArborEvenings at The North Carolina Arboretum
Running from June 27 – Sept. 26, this event allows patrons to sip and stroll through the Arboretum, while listening to live music.
Starting at 5:30 p.m., there is no additional fee for the event beyond the Arboretum’s standard parking fee.
The Big Crafty
It’s an event that draws hundreds and showcases Asheville’s creative spirit. The Big Crafty is back July 6-7 at Harrah’s Cherokee Center – Asheville.
From 12-6 p.m., this free event “celebrates the beauty of a human-scale economy and community-building soul-enriching creative work,” according to the event’s website.
Maggie Valley 2024 Summer Arts & Crafts Festival
From 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on July 6-7, patrons in Maggie Valley can check out local arts and crafts at this festival.
This free event features artists from across the Southeast, with a variety of foods on site.
