ASHEVILLE, N.C. (828newsNOW) — A second wreck in a matter of days closed New Leicester Highway on Friday.
West Buncombe Fire Department said a wreck in the 900 block of New Leicester Highway had caused the road to be closed in all directions Friday afternoon.
According to social media posts, the crash happened near Quality Plus.
The road was reopened shortly after 2 p.m.
No details about the wreck were available.
It was the second serious crash this week. On Wednesday, West Buncombe Fire Department was called to a wreck in the 400 block of New Leicester Highway.
