The contest is over for the Weaverville and Woodfin Municipal Election held today, Nov. 4, 2025. 2,702 ballots were cast, making up 22.85% of registered voters in the four eligible precincts.
According to Weaverville Town Clerk Tamara Mercer, election centers have “been busy. It was definitely busier this morning, but steady all day.”
The city of Asheville will observe Veterans Day next week with an official ceremony at the Charles George VA Medical Center. Additionally, several city services will be impacted by the holiday.
