Three days after Masieuh Dewayne Morgan, 19, was arrested on 25 felony counts, Asheville Police Department detective Aaron Buyanovsky spoke with 828newsNOW to shed light on the web of fraud that led to Morgan’s apprehension.
Around 2:18 a.m. on Sunday, Jan. 4, APD officers heard gunfire around Banks Avenue. When officers canvassed the area, they discovered seven shell casings near the intersection of Banks Avenue and Church Street.
Masieuh Dewayne Morgan, 19, was arrested by the Asheville Police Department around 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 3 off of Long Shoals Road. Morgan was arrested on the basis of 25 open felony warrants, many of which involve fraud.
